Camp is ALMOST Here!!!!
posted by: Ms. Patricia McTigue
Well, it's almost here! Can you believe it? The crew, under the direction of super awesome Pastor Jerry Skaggs, have already been working on the set. The costumes are amazing, thanks to the insanely talented Ms. Randi Skaggs, and the power team have all been gearing up for Monday. There are a few things that you may have questions about concerning what to do and bring on Monday. Please take a moment to glance at Ms. Patricia's "do's and don'ts."
DO:
• Wear your yellow Seussical shirt
• Bring black eyeliner and mascara in a labeled ziplock bag
• Arrive between 8:30 and 9:00
• Bring your script, with your name on it.
DON'T:
• Wear flip flops, they are NOT safe to dance in.
• Bring anything valuable (Nintendo DS, etc.)
• Wear short shorts or skirts, remember, we are dancing!
• Wear your nicest clothes, remember we are painting.
• Wear deodorant, JUST KIDDING (I wanted to see if you were paying attention.)
"THINKS" TO REMEMBER:
• SMACK water bottles and bags will be provided on the first day.
• Pick up is at 4:00 in the CFA main lobby. We will not be having the car line due to the anticipated heat.
• You MUST bring your car pick up tag and present it to the leaders at your child's group kiosk.
Tickets are on sale and going fast. You may purchase them in the lobby during camp hours. We accept cash and checks. If you wish to purchase them with a Visa or Mastercard, there is a $50 minimum order. Playbill ad space is VERY LIMITED! What a great, lasting way to commemorate your child's accomplishment. Ad space may also be purchased on the first day of camp in the lobby. Please reply if you would like more information. Read the handbook if you have not already. Most everything you need to know is in there. Visit our downloads page for another copy. Spirit Day, Friday, June 24th. Have your child wear their team colors. Chick-Fil-A night, Tuesday, June 28th! Afton Ridge location. It is ALWAYS fun! If there are any parents out there willing to donate an afternoon and help out at lunch, we could always use another set of hands. You can contact us at 704.960.0903
